Why not clear bracing????

I've thought about this a few times and I still don't know why aquarium companies haven't started making clear bracing. I know rimless tanks are way more expensive and taller tanks can't even be made rimless but how about the same bracing they use but clear I think it will look awesome and very close to the rimless look. No???

That is a good idea though- for a cheaper rimless look alternative.

may have to deal with the tolerance of clear plastic being subject to heat and light exposure. once it starts to yellow, it would no longer become desirable.

acrylic would raise the manufacturing costs of tanks. then making it affordable is lost.
