Hey guys , I bought a reefkeeper elite system a week ago and I can not calibrate the ph probe it doesn't seem to take it and I work from 8-4;30pm and that's the hours of digital aquatics , so I can't call them for help lol , any suggestions ? , I checked the repair manual and tried to do as it says and no luck

Are you dipping the probe in ro water to rinse between putting it in the two calibrating bottles?

Yes I have a cup with r.o water in it and I placed the probe in the 7ph packet and it evened out to 7.02 so close to it so I rinsed it and then placed it in the 10ph packet and it stayed reading at 7ph it would not change

I also tried to repeat the steps again and nothing , it just stays at 7ph

Was the pH probe purchased new or used? Was the tip of the probe encapsulated in a cap with liquid? Did you remove the cap before trying to calibrate it?

Yes everything was bought from marinedepot , I treated myself to a xmas gift lol , and yes it came with the cap and water in it or w,e is in their , and I removed the cap
