Do you let your kids name your fish?

I thought I would share this since I found a couple of the names funny

Black blenny - Benny
Six line wrasse- Lucy
Oscellaris - nemo (duh)
Firefish - Shawn the fireman
Serpent star - Katrina the creepy starfish ( after mommy trust me she feels honored)

This is what my 3 & 4 y/o daughters named our fish lol

My yellow tail coris is named Peter (PITA) and my PT is Freckles, but I've always named my FW fish. I haven't named my other SW fish.

LOL, you took those words out of my mouth, all my fish has Polish and English names

My son is to young but my wife does a pretty good job at naming them.

I tell my four year old their common names but sometimes they end up being known by their colors (i.e. the white one...)

It was very cool though to go to AV and have him point to the tanks and say wow thats a big yellow tang!

My nephew is only 2 1/2, but he calls them emos.

My son has named a few of mine. The clowns and hippo are exactly what you would think. But my purple Firefish is Dr Flame, and blue spot watchman is Mr Grumpy. And I have a red leg hermit named Bill.

My "fish" named my kids. My son "Flounder" didn't think it was a good idea.

My daughters named my female maroon clown, Eva cause she was a bit evil... And an emerald crab, mr. Crabby. Oh and knight goby, jumpy for obvious reasons.

My daughter named all of our fish.
Pre hurricane losses, we had Nemo and Marlin, a royal gramma named Dora and a Yellow Wrasse named Banana Fish. Our Trochus snails she called Pickle Snails and our crabs we named Kelly Crab, Kelly is my wife's name.

Post hurricane, we have Nemo and Marlin again... funny how that works.
