Need help ASAP please

Hey guys , I woke up today to my reef keeper elite it failed on me , the ATO hookup I guess failed and never shut off the outlet bc it overflowed my sump and now the whole system shutdown and they are blinking orange and da is closed and I have no clue how to fix this issue

Did any of the RKE equipment get wet?

It got a little damp because its in my sump but not wet

did i understand correctly, you have the head unit and pc4 in your sump?

Try shutting off the power units, disconnect from modules. Make sure everything goes off. Wait a couple of minutes then reconnect and power on. See if that helps.

Yes I Tried that I shut it down for 2 hours and Just tried again and still the same

If the "dampness" was visible on the unit you could try a day or 2 in a bag of rice. No guarantee. If you uh just the display into the module what do you get?

The main head unit seems to work it turns on and everything and it says error on ally pc4s , the main problem is the pc4s , I'm getting no power to the channels and the light that's on the corner just blinks orange ,I was doing some research and I found a person that stated it means the head units trying to find a connection to the pc4s but I don't think it's correct bc everything was working fine yesterday and now when I checked my system today I found this out

did you try resetting red reset button on pc4?

Yes I did that multiple times , and I've shut down the whole system for about a hour or two, and nothing , it's mined blowing that 4 days the unit was working wonders and now it's giving me problems unbelievable lol

Try plugging each pc4 (by itself) directly into the head unit. Maybe also try updating/re-applying firmware.

if you have any spare cables... may be the time to use it.

I am not sure why these would be mounted low in the cabinet. anything electrical should always be mounted high to avoid water.

i was just reading, they say as nL146 said update firmware to reefs 2.0. i tried doing this on my own rkl but you need updated sid.

NL and Ed I've got the v2 silver update connecter so I believe I have the updated one and I was thinking that could be the problem so I was going download the software to update It and found that I need windows and I have a Mac so I can't even update it if that's the case so I'm screwed their

Skene - I have it mounted on my stand door high enough that in case their was a overflow no outlets would get wet , the cables may be in contact with water but water can not travel up so their for I would not have a issue with that

yes i believe that is the sid you need and yes unfortunately you need windows. i just sent my sid to be updated, i also have a mac, and so do my kids but my son put windows on his mac. I'm sure you must know somebody with windows. you should call da tomorrow their support people are very helpful.

Yes I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they can help me , it's mind blowing that everybody in their mother owns a apply product and they make the software to work on windows and not apple lol , crazy
