ok so i have this bristle worm(i think) in my tank, not sure how he got there.
he is about 7 inches and is driving me crazy.
recentlly i have been seeing him steal food rite out of the mouths of my blastos. he just a moment ago drilled his spiky head into my blasto and stole the food. he is consistentlly doing this and its a PITA.

Plus yeasterday i was moving things around and he perked himself up shot this murky liquid out of his "mouth" rite at my hand, and i have no idea what it is.
any one ever hear about these worms shooting out liqud like this? is it bad for me? i dindt seam to be bad for the corals.

no the final question:
HOW DO I GET IT OUT OF MY TANK!!!!!:headache: :headache:

help..
thanks guys

I had a monster bristle worm in my old office tank. we laso had a rather large mantis. the worm would go into the mantis hole from time to time but no death to either.

while I didn't try this, I imagine it would work since the worm sounds rather brave and aggressive.

get a long feeder stick - the kind with a point on the end. feed the tank and spear the worm. remove and photograph it for the benefit of the mr readers.

Joe...
I've done this in the beginning when I thought BW's were a pest.
If your's is indeed a BW:
take a wiffle ball (plastic balls with the holes), put a piece of shrimp inside & wrap the ball in piece of panty hose.
When trying to get to the food, their bristles will get caught up in the net & you can fish it out.

There are other traps on the market, but I've never tried them.
