Question on cleaning used tank

My plumbing and fittings arrived today,I have a used tank not much algae and coraline,can I just wipe it down and and rinse it quick. I dont wanna waste rodi water just to fill and drain a day later. Thanks...

Regular tap and vinegar will clean it up fine.

i always recommend throwing a powerhead or something to circulate the water to ensure a good mix of the vinegar + water. Really cleans things nicely

I have the tank with fresh and vinegar im gonna let it run till tomorrow or sat morning,before I dump the fresh should I put a bag of carbon to get out the vinegar before i dump,or can i just dry the tank and add salt water?

No need. Don't even really need to let it dry out. Just pour out the cleaning water, wipe it down with some dry paper towels to get any bit of funk out of the corners and such and fill er up.
