Green Hair Algae - Risk of Spread

I have some live rock that I would like to put into my newly cycled tanks that has green hair algae on it. How big is the risk of doing this? Can I pick off as much as possible before transferring it over? The pieces that are really bad I will just completely clean but some of it has coral on it already.

Clean off any algae... dip in some coral RX or revive... clean again... dip in RO... then introduce into the tank. Chances are any coral that had GHA will end up being prone to introducing it into the tank.
