Question on flow

Ok I found out I need 3/4 y fitting to go on my cube. So my question now is should I use a reducer 3/4 to 3/4 or a 3/4 to 1/2. What would give me better flow?
I plan on using a maxijet 1200 as the power head

Going down to 1/2 will give you more PRESSURE but not more flow. But if you are using this same pump as your turnover then you may not want to restrict it.

I would leave as 3/4 and then just use a powerhead in your DT.

Ok turns out i got the wrong fitting, can I do the1.5 y to 3.4 ok?
