I have (2) 60g cubes up and running. 1 mostly with zoas and the other mostly with Monitporas. I would like to know besides the CA,Alk, & Mag, what additives and supplements are yall dosing/ recommend for color and growth.

I'm dosing Seachem Fuel once a week. My colors on my SPS are richer. But i also dose Vinegar for carbon to control Nitrates and have GFO for phosphate. All corals in my mixed reef system had very pale colors.

I normally don't add anything aside from regular water changes. But at the recommendation of one of the workers at Aquarium Village, i decide to give it a try. After the first week i could notice the colors were better. But thought it was just my mind palying tricks on me from staring at the tank too long.

By the second week even my wife, that never pays attention to the tank, asked me what did i do to the tank. I've been using it for about 5 weeks now and am very pleased with the result.

Please bear in mind that it may have little or no effect in your tank. My fish get fed at most 3 times a week, I'm away at work during the week. So maybe the corals were a little starved as well.

For the price of one bottle it was worth the investment of money and time.

IMO in new systems or without a heavy bio-load W/Cs should be enough to replemish all the elements needed. In a heavily stocked or older tank where the demand is greater and the elements are being used at greater rate than a W/C can replemish should additives and dosing be used...that being said I occationally dose iodine and strontium to maintain proper levels....I don't believe in all these miricles in the bottle even though some swear by them... most have just caused algae blooms for me, but every tank is different so what works for one may or may not work for someone else...JMO

I completely agree. For most tanks you will probably not have any improvement. It may actually prove to be detrimental.

I'm usually very skeptical of all the miracle cures out there, and am still skeptical on this one. I will be using it for a few more weeks and then cut back on the dosage.
