hey guys
just came back from queens. i was over @ Nsr250NYC's place checking out the 90(was jung's) and i plan to take it. i have just a couple of problems.

1) the tank is in flushing. i have no car and the only person i know who has a van cannot p/u that day @ that time. Nsr250NYC and i leave for vacation on monday so i would like to p/u sunday before i leave. this way i can get to work as soon as i get back from vacation. there is also a stand that i must bring w/ me.

is there anyone willing to help me out and p/u this 90 @ flushing and help me bring it to the city? of course i could dish out a couple bucks for the trouble. there are several members who have volunteered but i feel they would have to go out of their way to help me out, not to mention they have other plans that day.

2)one other thing the tank has some minor scratches but i would really like to buff those out. i want the tank to look as new as possible. this is the largest reef i have ever attempted. i have the machine for the buffing or polishing here already but i wanted to know if anyone has any experience in this and if they could give me some pointers.

thanks for all the help MR.
jonathan-

1.scarf i also need to to pick up a tank from queens on sunday and i m looking for somebody so if you get people who wants to make some $ we can split
2.polishing glass. im a stonemason/marble and mosaic worker i polish differend stone daily, with glass it is tricky you have to be absolutly sure what you doing - period . it is depends on the scrach . techniqe works like this . if scrach is big (deep) you i would recommend to start with 400 grid paper increase to 600 than 800 if you can get finer grid-do it. at this point glass starts get polishing than go for your polishing media ( paste , diomonds , buff) do not forget -- wet run only on the glass . also you need virable speed only tool ? wich one you have if quastions call 718 350 97 81

no they aren't but i figured i want to start w/ as close to a new 90g as possible. when i get home tonight i will see if my nail gets caught in the scratch. if it does then i will have to leave it alone because buffing will not repair it. if my nail doesn't get caught then i can go ahead and buff the glass.
