Another thing based on personal experience, when the get older and bigger they developed a taste for zoas. Once again personal experience. I have 3 on my sump right now for that reason, btw one ate a whole mushroom over night.

If you do your research you will see these crabs are not the end all be all of ridding RBA.

They CAN do it, but its not 100%. Use the search on the forum to check out threads on this topic.

Matt he is asking the community a question. We don't have to always use the search option. i personally like to ask a question and have it answered by another member. So for the OP's question some go for it and some don't.

Your best bet is if the rock or piece that the bubble algae is able to be taken out, take it out and try to take off all the bubble algae. if not try to dislodge the bubble algae and get it out of there. if you pop the algae it is will supposedly spread spores and more will be coming your way

Tonyscoots84: I wonder, do people ever get sick of replying the SAME way to all my posts? We have a WAHHH thread for these types of replies. Please search Red Bubble Algae and tell me all the new data you have about it that isnt in the threads.

You're right though, Ill stop informing members that MR has a great, and actually, amazing search engine that literally can find useful threads from today to 5 years ago with great data and opinions on topics. Tony, how do you cure Ich? Just wondering.

although Manhattanreefs.com does have a great search option, its a nice feature to be able to ask a question and have it answered by the community. it would be nice if people used the feature but most do not and thats why this great community is here to inform and advise

and ich is off topic ;)... :backtotop :lol2:
