So here is my problem. I have a maroon gold bar that is about 5 yrs old now and i would like to add some other clowns. Is this possible without my tank being turned into the Thunder Dome? Tank is a 90 bow front

I cant get rid of the maroon clown.

Any other ideas?

Your only bet is to probably add a smaller Maroon Clown. If you do it you want to get a holding container and leave the new Clown in it for a while, so your other Clown will get use to it. Then after sometime you can release it in the tank and hopefully your Maroon Clown will get along with it and not kill it.

Don't do it I have a mated pair in my tank and tried to add a new pair it was good for a couple of weeks and then all hell broke loose, and this is even adding them in a new tank all at the same time

If you are going to keep the maroon I agree with Marrone. The new maroon can't be tiny but maybe half the size of the one you have . It is also a good idea to use the holding container and make sure the new maroon is eating and is comfortable in your water before you release it into the tank
