I just purchased (2) seio m820 from a member on MR. I have a 72g bowfront. I put the first pump in...it looked like a tsunami in the tank...i tried every position and it just doesn't work... I know it is a trial and error kind of thing but most of my corals close up because there is too much flow...and note that i only put one of them in so far....they are not directly hitting the corals i am facing it at the rear glass right now...

Any advice guys? Tips?

Or if anybody from around my area...drop by and help me out...

He knows I am joking. He is too smart not to know that.

Besides this forum, he asked every single LFS, friends who own tanks and so forth for anything happening in the tank. So he soon will know more than us. Actually, I wonder why his cousins, friend would still answer his calls     Will, joking again.

BTW, Will, does your GF allow you to KTVs? If so, my friend has a grand opening in Elmhurst like next month, wanna join?

Well my coral (specifally the goniopora and my anemone) looks like it is getting sucked toward the power head, but yet they are so far away from the powerhead...it just goes in 1 direction...

Well now i'm going to try both of them in at the same time and put one of each corner in the back and aim at the middle glass...

BTW reefman bought a clam from me the other day and he told me i had cyano growing on my sand and rock(before i purchased the seio) that is why i went lookin for some powerheads...he said the sand bed should have flow too so it wont build up...if i'm aiming it to the glass will it have enough flow for the bottom?

And IMO 1 power head is already making a tsunami in my tank....so if i put both of them...wont it be like a Tornado/earthquake/hurricane/volcano combined? (sorry for the cornyness)...

Yea sure i'm down to go...i passed by corona ave yesterday and i saw a new bar there..is that the one you are talking about? where is this place if it is not that one...and drinks are free right :) j/k j/k

strength of flow is adjustable on the seio. placement of the ph is trial n error. the idea is to create flow everywhere in the tank(eliminate dead spots.)aiming at large rocks and glass will create lots of indirect flow. i use a magnet bracket holder so all my phs r easily moveable anywhere. i believe water movement is 1 of the top 3 most important thing in reefs.
