Looking to buying a shallow reef tank . What is everyone's take on these. Any owners regret buying these cause I regret buying on of my all in one systems ! Never again .. I don't want to make the same mistake twice and regret my purchase 6 months down the road. However I really love the shallow reef look !

Yea I am purchasing the 30 gallon reef ready. It's also includes the plumbing. The dimensions of the tank are 24 x 24 x 12. When I saw it in person I was pleased with the size it's actually pretty big. I'm going over from my 20 gallon.

i have this tank. it's great. i ditched my jbj nanocube for it. the 80 gallon is sweet and will most likely be my next tank! the only drawback about the 30g is the stand. you will have to get a custom sump. i started with a 10 gal sump which i hated since i could barely fit any of my equipment in it. jeff built me a 20"x20"x15" sump that is awesome!

I upgraded from a 9 gallon cube to the deep blue reef ready 30 gallon cube rimless and love it. To me, the glass is very clear, and I dont have a single complaint about the tank itself. Even though the rimless could be a pain at times, do not get the rimmed version. the rim makes the tank look even more shallow. You can make a great nano reef in these things. Im keeping everything from SPS, anemones, LPS, ext.

big tip: replace the supplied PVC they give you for the durso drain and cut one SLIGHTLY taller. This will reduce the water from splashing down from the overflow and make the system WAY more quite. if you have questions on this PM me.

my buddy loved my tank so much he went out and picked up the Deep Blue 80 gallon (48X24X18) and its awesome. If you have the room go with that tank for sure.
