Anyone know a place on long island that carries it?

I see they make a gorilla glue now that doesn't need primer, aquarium safe?

I've always used the purple primer and regular pvc glue.

Ace carries both..if they have the size you want in stock is a whole other ball of wax.
Never tried the Gorilla glue for this purpose, I'd stick (no pun intended) with the tried & true PVC glue & primer

I was just in ace, they never have anything I need. I will check Home Depot and lowes tomorrow if they don't have it I guess I will order some online.

I know..our Ace never seems to restock that section..always out of whatever size I seem to need. :(
HD & Lowe's also carry the flex stuff, or you might try the Ace in RVC.

For gluing Black color flex PVC, you should not use true PVC glue, I think they are compatible to CPVC glue. Oh for safety, please verify with the store technician. I may have it reversed. Can't remember too well about this. Everytime I need to use the flex PVC is some odd repair cases such as plastic bulk heads and combo of incompatible parts already in the system that I have to fix.

Also the size are not the same as std sch80 PVC pipe, you should hand try the section. I bought those in Home Depot in Florida, so good luck up here. I can never find what I want from the HD here in NYC.

DO NOT USE Gorilla Glue unless they made a new one for PVC and food grade. The std Gorilla Glue is VERY toxic to living organisms.

I used black flex and regular pvc with Christy's Red Hot Blue Glue and it worked out really well. The only con is that you have less than 30 seconds to get it fit the way you want it because after that it's not moving.
