Screw it. Some people hate all products made in china bc of the fact. Wouldn't even give em a chance and save money. Id say there are a whole lot of really bootleg stuff but there are definitely some high quality and cheap at the same time products

I too want to see what the big deal is , I just hate seeing people lose money on junk when this hobby is expensive enough!!!! I think a couple of guys should get it so it's not a super Loss , maybe we can chip in 10 bucks each and buy the whole thing and bring it to the swap and run it from beginning to end , and then raffle it to a fellow reefer and have him or her give us a weekly report for 3-6 months ...... Now that's a great idea!!

The pump is being critiqued because it is a company that is not know for having great products. People want a pump like vortech or tunze but for half the cost and this pump comes along with a iffy company at best. You want to shell out 100 bucks for it go right ahead. You want to spend another 60 for the upgrade go ahead but i am giving a opinion that your wasting your money before hand to know the consequences of buying cheap products. You are telling me non of you guys saw a product and know right away that its not even worth the 19.95 the infomercial is selling it for because it looks so crappy but on TV it looks awesome? When your looking for a appliance would you buy a known named brand that gives you what you expect or some no named brand that no one owns because its 200 bucks cheaper. Know what your buying before buying. I am not bashing it i am giving a point of view

No, its being critiqued because of blatant bias against the product because it is chinese made, and misinformation being spread by people such as yourself with no experience with the product. I seem to be the only one commenting on it that actually owns it.

I've run various Vortech models for well over a year over two different size tanks, and know what they can and can't do already.

It's also a bit strange that a vendor of said product would have the nerve to say anything about me putting out biased information. Like I said before, try one, and give your own impression of it. The fact you accused me of jumping the gun already despite giving a ton of info on it doesn't sit well with me.

I don't need to wait 6-8 months to document my experiences or to wait for other people to test things. These are my findings which I just so happened to share, and will continue to share over time. If it breaks, I'd make it just as well known. You can take it or leave it, but this info can be very useful to a lot of people putting tanks together in the immediate future.
