Thinking about this skimmer or the Aquamaxx HOB-1 for a 75g setup. I know the BH-2000 is a more powerful skimmer but I really like the skim cup outlet on the newer HOB-1s that allow you to have the skimmate go to a seperate container. Really seems like set it and forget it and I can just empty a bucket underneath the tank in the stand.
Can the BH-2000 be easily modified this way a simple barb? Anyone sell an appropriate cup like this?
How's the noise on the BH-2000. I've heard the HOB-1 is near silent.
