I got some gha growing on my zoa plug and i think its starting to bother them.I got a vertex reactor I know its kinda huge for my tank ,but I got it for a good price on here and I like it because its free standing,no room in cabinet or sump.I read a thread about the reactor messing up the alk,I have a 40 breeder and with sump 57 total gallons.The instructions are not that clear on how much to add.it also says to add in grams,I can weigh the media I have a digital scale,dont ask why but I do.Should I add more or less than whats reccomended once i figure that out. I only have 4 small frags so im not doseing any thing yet,I just dont want to mess anything up my green monti cap is doing great and I read they are sensitive to alk swings.If anyone has ne suggestions pleas help,thanks..phos.05.
