MP10 keep it or return it

I just got an mp10w es for my birthday, I opened the box looked at it and then closed it up..

I was lmfao when I seen this thing, are they kidding me $268 for this pump?

I can get 15 maxi jet's 1200's for the same price, I just dont see it being worth $268 ,I dont know if i wanna drop it the tank or return it now, If its as loud as there MP40's NO thanx, can anyone tell me if there comparable in sound?

Mp10 is definitely quieter than an mp40. I've run both

The MP10 is great. I'd rather have one of those for flow than 15 maxijets It's not too loud and the flow is great for its size.

Its going on my 54 corner tank, I have MJ1200 and a Hydor Koralia 600 on my controller .

Keep the pump they are are not loud but it in your tank your love it

Jhart, that was my initial reaction a few years ago when I got my first one. I couldn't imagine running a tank without an mp10 or mp40 now. Great pumps, worth every cent in my opinion. Good luck.

+1 i loved the mp10, it looks small but packs a great punch and its super quiet. the difference between the mp10 and korallias are the adjustable modes and speeds which is awesome

just finished hooking it up, Kris your right its pretty quiet compare to the mp40..

And it dose more alot of water .. THanks guys the push!!!
Only one complaint the zip ties must be made in china there definitely not 3m , its why they give you 4 spares , I broke 3 ...

I have the first MP10 Saltwater Critters had ever sold. Actually got it at midnight of the release day. It works awesome on my tank. I should probably upgrade the box to the new ES box. But the original blue box works great.

I use Reef crest.

Yeah that mode was the one one I seen on a Youtube video and I noticed it being loud, So that is why I had concerns at first.
I will say in pulse mode it rocks the water back and forth ..
