Below you will see a montipora Undata , the growth pattern is abnormal for this type of coral , usually this coral encrusts . Where it was mani cultured it probably grew in a disc form , when I got it I mounted like a plate type overhanging in the middle of my tank.
If you see those white spots on there they will eventually heal up and grow new polyps , what I'm thinking is that bubbles might be getting caught up under neath and killing it and then healing up.
Im was kinda ruling out nudibranch's because I rx dip everything and I already took that coral out 3 times and dipped it..I also inspected the coral very closely and I have seen nudibranchs before so I know what and where to look for them, I could be wrong and blind..

But now here's the head scratcher look at the sunset monti in the second picture , Im now getting brown death, that I never had before ..2 Monti's Hmm.. I was thinking that I was bleaching / browning out that coral because I had moved the coral up and under direct light . I should of moved it but I didn't .. Now I'm noticing this brown death coming through .. So now
Im going to take it out dip it and lower it ,, The Undata I just might toss it out...Thinking it might be a disease or a pest and having other monti's I just might toss both of them. and dip everything else in the tank, thats not glued or grown over..
