Bulb combo?

I changed to 2 150,14k phoenix.. from 10k.. I like the blue tint.. now I want to change the 4 t5s..If i add 2 atinic and blue plus.. will it be much more blue or should i add 2 atrinic and 2 purple...The tank is a 40breder with the light fixture 14inches above the tank,should i lower the fixture since I went to 14k?The corals I do have seen to like this light just as much.

id do 1 actinic, 1 purple plus, and 2 blue pluses

I am not a fan of T5 actinic. They are very dim and don't do much more than a blue plus to fluoresce your corals.

3 blue plus and 1 KZ film purple or if you want a better color for T5 viewing 2 blue+. 1 Aquablue special, 1 fiji purple.

I was gonna get geisman,but was gonna try ati because they are cheaper so if I dont like a certain bulb its not soo expensive. I just dont want much more of a blue than i have with the mh when they are both on.I have what came with the fixture which is 2blue and 2 pink on the current outer orbit fixture.I just want to make sure the t5 I get are giving enough light.I think I will get 2 of each in the last combo you mentioned and at least I have 2 of each incase i want to add another of the same color.I know the mh do most of the work but I know the blue lights play some role in the lighting other than just looks.I wish the stores had all the lights on a tank with just water so you can see how they look.

ATI bulbs are a bit brighter then Giesmann

Coral Plus 1
these are ATI bulbs name ! just acclimate !! i went from 3 250 double ended metal halide on my 120 to ATI powermodule 8x54watts and it is more dangers to bleach out your SPS !!
