eqq crate and light

Im upset my baby black and white clown jumped today,the other clown pro scared him..How much of light loss will I get if i put a egg crate over the tank to cover? I dont want to disturb the coral as they are growing great with the light now.I gotta get this tank covered before I add more fish.. what else can be used to cover tank without light loss.. I have 2 150mh with 4t5s,14inches above the tank on a 40 breeder. Thanks

bro go buy mesh netting to put over the tank. its soo cheap and its a good way to go for a cover.

I have netting on my DT. I don't know if you noticed it. Egg Crate I tried it first and too much loss.
