Could i put my maxima clam on the sand bed. I have 1 evergrow 120w less and 2 12w par 38 leds on the side. what do you think.

Go for it. Worse case you're out $35 and best case it flourishes.

You didnt list the depth of your tank. I mean, we could guess but... that is obviously a factor in giving you advise. 12" depth vs 36" is a big difference.

Crocea are high light and flow clams. Huge byssal opening for attachment. They are tough to keep. Place on a flat rock on bottom of tank. You can always move later.

I got the new light, last Friday, also i have 4 clamps, two on rocks, two on sand, they do just fine, i move it Sunday. One is 7 1/2" big (i have this for 5 years). I down size from MH 2x 150 W-4 T5 54 W. 150 Gal. to 75 Gal. LED, Thank's to my boss, i use to have my tank at work.
