I needed to delete one prize from the list as it was a mistake..Deltec sent us a bunch of jars of ReefRoids..packed in a nano-skimmer box, so we mistakenly listed the skimmer as the prize. we apologize for the confusion!

As many of you know we had a glitch with a couple of the prizes in the Raffle..one being the Air-Water-Ice Gift certificates were unfortunately packed inside of the manual - which was inside of the Ro/Di unit ..the winner was kind enough to alert us to this when he opened up the unit and all of those have been sent on to the folks who won them

Our other issue was the Pair of Platinum Clownfish (donated by Fins Aquarium) - which to my amazement - were not in the tank when we pulled the winning ticket...

..as it turned out we had a miscommunication as there was one pair of regular clowns in that tank that were for sale....but the Platinums were a Raffle Prize... we have taken steps to make sure that doesn't happen again...

The winner of the Platinum clowns was Joe from Boston Aqua-Farms and he was MORE than good natured about our...umm..screw-up...

Many of you saw the thread where we were attempting to find the fellow who purchased the clowns, but we ultimately decided that it made no sense to try and get them back for a bunch of reasons ...including and most importantly....he was rightfully entitled to them as he paid for them!
We hope they are doing well in their new home!

..and then a wonderful thing happened!!!! POP CORALS offered us a pair of Platinum Clownfish!!!!!! We cannot thank John & Steve enough for doing this!!

By Wednesday afternoon they had the pair for us, James picked them up and they rested at his house overnight (thanks James!!), On Thursday morning they went to school with him (not cause they are fish and wanted to school..he is a teacher...) and then our winner Joe..remember Joe? well Joe was so excited about getting his Platinum's that he didn't want to stress the fish even more by having them shipped to his home ...did I mention he lives by BOSTON?? ...Well, Joe decided the best thing was if he drove down to pick them up

..and he did...and off to their new home they went :goldfish2

Joe is a busy guy running around to all of the swaps with Boston Aqua Farms and he kindly took the time to send us a pic of the fish hanging out in his sump...

I'm sure Joe will be dropping by...so I will let him tell you what happened to him this past weekend (good stuff !)


Once again, we want to thank POP Corals for stepping up and helping us out of this jam...you guys are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
