I am Will probably be moving in the near future ill know the exact time when I close on house. I will have to move my current tank. My plan is the build a stand for new tank , put my old one on it for now. Then get new tank and swap out tanks. I am prob going to go with a 60 rimless or 120 rimless. I will prob looked for used also. Are all 120 rimless and 60 standard dimensions? I know nothing about different brands. I also would like to go with the black sand has anyone used the black sand and regret it?

The only sand I know of that is completely black is Tahitian moon sand.
Anything aragonite is usually more of a grey and typically magnetic which gets stuck to your magnet cleaner and scratches the glass.
I used the moon sand in my solana and loved it when I first set it up. However over time it looked really dirty from any particles that would land on it.
It also needs to be vacuumed. Much like a FW tank.
