magdrive venturi?

I have a sea dragon compact I plan on using on my NC12DX , the pump for the integrated skimmer is a crappy CA1800 that I hate and is to loud.
does anybody know how to turn the magdrive into a venturi? and where can I buy or who has the nylon screws for the mag?

Which magdrive are you planning on using? If the plan is to use some of the smaller ones you might want to consider using maxijets. They already have the venturi and you would not have to worry about the screws. Plus they run a lot cooler too. In the past when I have taken mag drives out of my tank the temperature dropped by at leat 2 degrees for each pump. Thats a big plus in the summer months.

There are a few members that still have the nylon screws lying around. Deepwater and Sollby have them I believe. In not you can obtain them through www.usplastics.com Just beware, once you hit that site you will be buying a lot more than just plastic screws.
