Been thinking about downsizing. I was messing around with some rock pieces and love the way it came out. Got me thinking about setting up the 40 breeder. Unfortunately, I only have room for 1 tank. That means my 140g would get broke. down. Its a big drop in size, and would have to get rid of some of my fish. I'm torn.
My thoughts on this are fueled by my rough work schedule and a new baby in the house. Cheaper to run and maintain on my part. I just dont have the time that I used to. Guess I'm looking for reasons not to, or just to do it. Thoughts anyone?
Here's the 40b setup.

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices. But on the brighter side, you are still in the hobby. When you have more time, then think about upgrading.

All the best,

James

I wouldn't give up the big tank, you already have a lot invested in it and after setting it up I feel like your hard work is done. Personally, it has been no different having a 75 in the past to a 210 now, at least maintainance wise. I would even go as far as saying that the bigger tank is easier than my smaller tanks, especially compared to the 3G in my room.
