I have a rasta frag in having trouble with, the plug is plastic and has some green algae on it and it is on the polyps and keeping them closed,I put them infront of the powerhead and wiped them off but next day algae on them again. Can I take a razor and slide it across the bottom of the plug to get them off and glue to a piece of rubble.I even tried to wipe them and dip but the algae comes back.this is the only plug that had this I think because its plastic. What else can I do I think these might not make it if I dont get them off there some how.

Are they on a piece of rubble glued to the frag plug? If so, you can use bones cutters or possibly scissors to pop the rubble off the frag plug and then glue it directly onto your aquascaping.
