Help needed, the infamous Lighting quest...

Hey all im trying to aquire all the right parts for my 60g cube build. My budget is about max 6-700 for the fixture. As I really wanted to go with T5s the cost of bulb replacements seems challenging even after spending that amount for an ati power module. So im leaning towards the Leds... I would like to keep mostly Softies/Lps but I do want a few monti caps in the tank.

I think you could use one ai light over that cube and be good. You can also add additional if you feel it's needed later on. A friend of mine has a 60 cube and one ai sol lights it up nicely. If you don't buy a new one you can be well under your price, even new you would be under
I've never used one, but a kessil might work for you too.... I would check out 60cubes in the tank thread section and see how others are lighting them up

Try looking for a couple of used ai sols. Should be able to get them under budget.
