No AC in the house at all? They're on sale at sears this week and PC richard too, buy a window unit and put it in.

Get some clip on fans to blow across the water surface. This will drop the tank several degrees by itself via evaporative cooling but you will need to top off more frequently if you don't have it automated. Very short term solution put some ice in bags and float them in the tank. Put some water bottles filled with water in the freezer so that you can float those in the tank once they are frozen. Then consider a small window ac like Chief said just to keep the room lowered a few degrees. It shouldn't have to run all the time for that.
Good luck!

I have been having a issue with heat as well and suggest running a fan across the top on high all day all night. It dropped the temp 8-10 degrees! WAL*MART ROCKS!

your lucky it looks like it's cooling off today.

BUT you have to get some thing worked out for when it gets hot again
90 is going to kill the whole tank.
Fans will work to some extent, but when it's too hot in the room they can only do so much. the ice bottles are a good trick but you have to be home all day and night to keep changing them.
