HELP with T5 lighting.

Hey guys,

So me and my girl are new to T5 lighting and we have a 48in Tek 4blub fixture, Right now we are running with ATI Bulbs, 2Blue Plus, 1Purple Plus, 1coral Plus.

Im just not to sure if these bulbs are rite i was reading and alot of people were with this kind of COMBO so i dont no if i should be using this way or a different way.

Also this fixture is on a 60G DB 48x24x12 frag tank. so i would like to no whats good for color and growth.

thanks guys just wanted to make sure that is a good combo.

i also have another question.

At what height should we have it above the tank.?
right now its about at 1 and a half feet above the tank is that to far? should we lower it?

ive always run it to start at 12". if the corals are responding fine to the height you have it now, you could lower it over time to acclimate them. Also with the tek fixtures you could benefit from running a fan pointed at the bulbs as the fixture does get hot.
