Rtn from alk swing ?

Getting strange rtn I've never had b4 I guessing its from my alk went from 7.7-9.9 over 2 days !
My kalkwater is drip dosed I didn't relize it ran out been so busy painting new house it's only thing I do besides work !
So I didn't have rodi to make new batch so I dosed by hand for a few days since I was so crazy with the new house I didn't get around to testing till last night well it shot up to 9.9 and yesterday some my nicest pcs where rtn from base !
Strange thing is 1/4 my sps look awesome !
Will an alk swing from 7.7-9.9 cause this?
I guess so I think because I was so stable at 7 range this threw them for a loop !

Can't wait to get my new 225 running with proper equipment been growing acros in a 40 breeder in my inlaws laundry room lol also I'm thinking might be getting warmed up when dryer is on tank is 4 foot from dryer !
I guess it doesn't matter too much tank is being moved in 3 weeks

unfortunetly Matt the alk swing could definetly have caused it along with any temp swing...cant wait to see you get bad boy up and running also..

Yes excited to be done with house so I can work on tank!!! Gonna needs some help plumbing it and figuring out how to use the closet I have avail!

Will be nice to have a real tank again I been trying to perform miracles in a simples 40 breeder ! Dripping 30 ml of kalk water an hr so when something stops working if I don't catch it right away my sps takes a beating ! Really looking foward to the lg water volume
