Hi guys,

So I recently purchased a 230 gallon aquarium.. I live on the first floor of a 3 family house, no basement or crawl space... Do you guys think it'll be safe? My backyard is concrete and the house is about 2-3 inches above concrete level.. The floor is wood so I'm a bit confused, any insight would be helpful, thanks!

Is anyone on here a structural engineer or an expert in these matters??

Yup all house plans have copies in the city hall or department of housing
I'm grabbing mine too

Just to make sure you have where the beams are and how many and how thick and see if there is empty space under the floor

If you are making an investment like that I would plan ahead severely
Open the floor and make a solid concert base to make sure

Just my opinion but if you are playing with that much weight it's better to make sure that its all safe and secure.
