how deep is your sand bed if you don't mind me asking.

My sand bed is barely an inch. There are some spots that are deeper because of how the sand settled in the flow. Works well. The deeper sand portions are used by my wrasses.

I just never ran it. I have UV on my system and keep water clean. Nothing against carbon though

The tank is 350G. My total water volume is ~600G.

DT - 350G
Sump - 150G
Fuge - 40 Breeder
WC tank - 90G
Frag tank - 30G.
