So I re-hook up my RO unit with this blue print I got off line. The TDS coming in is at 10 and coming out is at 5. Can somebody tell me what I did wrong?

Your drawing shows no waste water being dumped. What are you doing with the waste? If you're reusing it, it explains why you aren't getting zero TDS.

Also, your drawing shows no DI component. Are you running only RO with no DI?

Here is mine. I have 2 75gpd ROs (150gpd). I fill the drinking water tank manually when its empty. I just like it better than leaving the value open to the system all the time.

holy crap that's a birdsnest of tubes and hoses! The best way to know what goes where is to get some color tape (blue, red, green, etc) then tape both ends of hose or tube so you know what is connecting to what. red for waste and incoming water, yellow for after first 3 stages, blue for after 4th stage membrane, green for final product to tank, drinking and storage tank.
This works best so you know what goes where and what is going where. Also if you add a stage or need to breakdown, etc you can reset no problem.
(markers of the permanent kind are good too (sharpie) the tubes must be dry)

I think it might be the ASOV. Do I really need that on?

You do not NEED it on there to work. However, if you don't have it on there you better be aware of the level in your reservoir or you're going to have a flood.

The ASOV can be very tricky to install correctly, but it is a very helpful component of the RO/DI when you want to automate. My suggestion, hook it up properly and enjoy the benefits. Lots of diagrams and/or YouTube vids to help you do it right.

hey guys I found the source of the problem when I came home. The water feed line was installed incorrectly. On that note, I filled up 2 20g extra high tanks that I used for my reservoirs. I notice this morning that my last stage before the membrane ( DI Resin ) got brown before the first 2 sediment filters and the carbon block. What yall think could be the reason for this??

Check the tubing on your sediment > carbon > DI resin canisters. If your DI resin is before your RO membrane, this is incorrect and needs to be fixed. The proper order is:

sediment > carbon > RO membrane > DI resin

Thanks, I have it before the membrane. Going to change it now. Question, I have my booster pump in between the 5 micron and the 1 micron. I seen on a blue print that it should go right before the membrane. Is this correct? If not, where do you suggest the booster pump go?

I normally put the booster pump in between the source and the sediment filter. However, if you have two sediment filters and you're looking to minimize sediment from reaching the booster pump, then running the source water to the 5 micron sediment then to the booster pump should be ok.

Putting the booster pump immediately before the membrane is not correct.

I have a Air Water Ice Typhoon 3 with ASOV, but I can't seem to get my booster pump to shut off when my float valve is activated. I have a pressure switch on my product water line that is connected to my float valve. Any help is much appreciated.

i had that same problem.. the asov has 2 inputs and 2 out puts.. ones high flow (the one thats labeled in and out or 1 and 2 ) the other is low flow.. sometimes people run them reverse and the asov shuts off but cuts back on.. check that.. if its not that the pressure switch needs to be adjusted until its dialed in correctly.. 1/4 turns till you got it right.. check this thread i made hopefully it helps
