What kind of trace element additives to use?

Is there a particular brand of trace elements additives you folks recommend for a mixed reef tank?

For me ,it's weekly water changes , calcium reactor , phosband reactor, marine snow at night and brightwell aminos . Oh and I feed my fish.. I know you said additives .

Same here, I don't use any additives just weekly water changes. I also change the carbon in my reactor once a month. Also, I dose Calcium, Alk and Magnesium. I'm not sure if you are referring to strontium, etc...

I like ESV brand for both supplements and trace elements. However, not everyone has a need for both Ca and Alk. Sometimes water changes are sufficient for one of the two to remain within range. Unfortunately ESV only sells their B-Ionic two part components as a set. When this is the case for your situation I like the Brightwells. They sell the Reef Code A & B individually so you aren't required to buy both.

I follow your exact routine. I use ESV products. I asked because i always see folks posting about "trace elements". I was curious if there was a particular brand of Aminos or other additives that may promote coral health.

Well I use ZeoVit LPS Amino Acids, Coral Vitalizer, Sponge Power, Coral Booster and Pohl's Xtra. I forgot to mention those, I only use them about twice a week in very small doses like 1 ml each except the coral Vitalizer and Sponge Power which I dose daily (1 drop per 25 gallons) I've been using Zeo for awhile, expensive though, i probably don't need it since my husbandry is excellent.
