Hair algae !

I have a red sea max 130d and have a terrible hair and bubble algae problem. This problem erupted like 3 weeks ago. I tried using phosban by seachem but have no results yet. I run my lights only 8 hours a day. Can anyone help?

My water parameters are fine my po4 is a little high but added Seachems phosban to control that. I tried removing but it just grows back. As the same with the bubble algae

Are you using phosban in a reactor or media bag? How much and what do you fee? Do you use RO water? What are you using to test PO4?

Im using ro with 0 tds I feed once a day and I used a hanna tester and api and red sea

I used to have a bad outbreak of hair algae. Now I could say I have eliminated hair algae 90%, still in the process of eliminating it. Magnesium dosing helped a lot, ofcourse with proper husbandry.

The temp is 78, my lighting is on a timer running like 6 hours

is known to help with some algae
