Looks like they eating algae. On glass and few on LR which I can't get. Some say they won't touch SPS. Some say they eat Zoas. I don't know what to think about them yet. If they stop producing and die off I don't care. I see a little more a each day.

Once established the asterinas tend to keep on multiplying.
Can you rehome the hawk to the sump while the Harleys do their job and then sell off the Harleys and put the hawk back in.

Some asterinas eat zoas, others don't. You said it's an SPS tank, so not sure if it even matters in your case, but the asterinas will detract from the look of the tank once you have too many of them :(

i don't recall seeing them on any healthy acro. but i did see them on the dead/dying branches.
if you see only a few, why not pick them off with a tong/tweezer? the harley eats alot more than you think. i had a pair cleared up a 75 gal. in a week.
it'll starve after all the asterinas are gone. the good thing is they are not hard to catch and re-home.
does your hawk eat any shrimp or hermit? if it does, i think the harley would be a quick lunch.

That's not a bad ideal. Maybe I can catch him. He's so scared of his shadow. He is small. I notice more of these tiny star fish and there every where. Mostly on live rock. Not to many on glass. I saw one on SPS but was moving along the base then on LR. Didn't look interested in SPS. If there safe for SPS. Maybe I'll let nature take its course.
