Glass for frag tank?

Im planning on building a small frag tank 24Lx18Wx8H was wondering if I can use the glass that is sold at window glass stores or is it a special type of glass? Im planning on using 1/4" glass. Not interested in making it out of Acrylic either. Anyone knows of a place in the Bronx or close by? I have gone to a place by Kingsbridge here in the bronx and bought baffles from there before but never asked them if I can use their glass for small aquariums. Want some input ftom here before going to them in case someone knows a better place.

Your better off buying a 20 gal 24x12x16 or 20 gal long 30x12x12 buy either for $1 gal sale at Petco or pet discount.

Whats up pat how's everything? I have a 20gal but the dimensions I want for the frag tank are the ones I posted since its going to be beside my DT. Want to have it low enough to where it wont block the glass on my DT. Have you spoken with Deola?
