My tank is 36x36, currently bare bottom
I have a tunze attached to a powersweep on back wall of tank and an mp60 on the left side of the tank. I feel like the mp60 is just blowing into side of a rock area.

Any thoughts on where i can put an mp40, should mobe the mp60?

Was thinking of moving the sweep to the left side ( against a wall and putting the vortechs on rear wall
Thanks for input. Minimal corals at this time, but will be adding slowly

Well. I'm just not sure where to place them. The only thing I'm not planning on keeping any time soon is sps. Currently some zoos, star polyps, and few mushrooms. 4 fish too

I would personally place the MP60 on the right wall, placed facing the overflow(overflow in left rear of tank, correct?)and towards back glass, meaning at the 19" mark from front to back. On the left side glass, a bit more offset towards the front glass i would place the MP40, and on middle/ right side of the back glass the tunze. Would keep the MP60 at a higher intensity relatively to the MP40. That way you would get a nice current counter clock-wise with the tunze pushing forward water towards the overflow....

Do you have room behind the rocks?
It might be nice to have the mp60 behind them flowing threw the rocks.
keeping the rocks constantly purging and then the mp40 on the right side.
Then I would point the over flows down to the bottom to keep the detritus from settling and in the water colum.

i do have room behind the rocks and could easily fit the 60
maybe i will move the sea sweep to the right side and the 60 in the back. its easy enough to do. would you use the 40, if so where . i am not oppossed to the right side of tank, but its viewable from two sides and i would hate to have it right in middle
