is actually more like 3 gallons a month of the weaker 2 part solution. there are too many stonies in that system to count and they eat up alot of clacium. i do 20%-30% water changes a week. most of that is because of the water removed from the system from sales. my calcium drops roughly 10-20 ppm daily.i use a salifert kit and the mag levels stay around 1100-1200. thats good enough for me.

[FONT=Arial,sans-serif]Im thinking about using the two part as well but not sure yet. My Kalk reactor keeps my levels pretty good I just have to add ESV two part once a week.
What I was thinking about doing if I added this to my system was add two 10gl rubber maids in my attic with one part in each. I would add a aqua medic dosing pumps to it. Now If I added the dosing pump to my unit can I set it up just to add, lets say 1 cup at once, once a day?
Does the two part have to be mixed? If I did this I would add a pump to each for mixing at all times. if it has to be mixed at all times.
Also how long can it last before it weakens. What I mean about this is that if I used two 10g Rubbermaid's that will last me at least 3 months of the 2 parts from what I calculated out. If it last that long in month 3 will it be just as strong as week 1?
This is what it would look like in my attic. kinda. The Bucket on the left is were I mix my salt and the one on the right is my RO/DI water for top off and Kalk. I would just put the other two buckets on the left of these.

its only been up for a little over a yaer so only the first 2 systems are stocked. its about 600 gallons. i use rubbermaid stock tanks so its alot of growing space but not alot of total gallons. i have another 1200 gallons worth of tanks im setting up now. i have alot of room to expand so by the end of this year im hoping to have more tanks setup.
i dont use kalkwasser. the 2 part has been doing the trick for me. i dont like using the stronger 2 part solution because its easier to mix.
