Anybody has good tips on making the gumming noise of the mag quiet?
If i put a cover behind the stand would that help?
Its not rattling or anything but hummms rlly loudly

are you using it as an external or an internal?
if external, try a mouse pad under it.
internal- a silicone pot holder/coaster from the supermarket.

mag drives do make humming noises, ime. if it really bothers you then switch to the eheim 1260.....costs a bit more but super quiet and very reliable.

Is it internally hard piped to pvc? If so, the vibration will make it sound louder. My mag 7 is connected to pvc by a 1 1/2ft long hose. I cant even hear mine running.
I also siliconed some old heater suction cups I had to the bottom also. That also helped.
