I'd have to say our members. There's not many LFSs that can compare to the variety of coral in the tanks of MR members. Everything from the most Limited Edition acropora frag to the commonest zoanthid colony can be obtained. Post in our Want To Buy forum what you're looking for, and you'll be surprised at the results.

By the way, Welcome to Manhattan Reefs!

Welcome!

i agree w/ deanos 100%.

there are some stores in the reviews section. if you just want to check stuff out, check New World Aquarium and Aquatic Creations. i've heard both these places are quite pricey.

i would also speak w/ Ronen (deepwater). he will try his best to get you what you need.

HI,

I realy dont know what kind of corals im looking for. My tank is pretty well established, 3 years old so I can pretty much put anything in there and they survive.

I will have to make a list and post it here on the wtb area.

I usualy like to see the things I buy before buying them because of bad experiences with vendors.

Welcome Cyano!

As everyone here has said, look for corals posted by members. Definitely an excellent source. Also, our friendly neighborhood lfs Ronen (Deepwater) is always an excellent source. He always has a great selection of corals for great prices :)

Again, welcome...

So yeah I'll tag along w/ everyone else as well. In my personal experience Huse of Fish which is a member ran vendor are the best. They can get you anything you need w/ great prices and both are two of the most knowledgeable guys I know. There also great to talk with for any question and such. :)

The tank is matured but what kind of lighting are you running? I may have missed it. Filtration etc...all kinda goes into what you can get to thrive in your tank.

Besides this site, i like jaws 2 in elmford. Ask for lou and tell chong sent ya, u will get a better deal. Alittle pricey but he has some rare hard to find corals. I also like dealing with ronen aka deepwater, he always has some nice stuff. Also i heard jim, house of laughter has some really nice corals. Best bet, deal with people on this site, u will get the best prices from these guys. Hard to find corals, go to jaw2, on rte 119.
