I'm debating purchasing and LED fixture for my nano tank, want to go with either an AI Sol blue or 4 ecoexotic panorama pros (already have one 12k/445nm mix)
Which option would anyone recommend?
I think the future will be LED + T5 (comb.) i got IT 2080 Evergrow + 4 T5 (custom made, by Vio) .
Look into fathom LEDs , I got ais and I will be switching soon
here is the benefit to fathoms , they look great and the company comes to you!!! How great is that!! The actual creators will come to your home and they don't leave until your completely satisfied !! Good luck getting that kind of service from bigger companies who want to crank em out for a quick profit!! Trust me you will be seeing a few knockoffs coming out soon but there is only 1 fathom !!!!
That looks awesome! How do you like the combo?
Great lights and good customer service is not unique to Fathoms. Ai and Ecotech stand behind their products too. I'm sure other vendors/manufacturers do as well. It's almost a dart board of choices where LEDs are concerned at the moment.Definitely look into Fathom LEDs i have two on my 90 and love them trust me you will not be disappointed the lights are great and the customer service is even better

It boils down to what's most important to the one who will be using the light. I'm not looking to start another LED war and this is a well rehearsed topic. Basically you're looking for lights with enough intensity and color to grow corals and make them look good in your eyes (the quality known as "pop"). Plus you're trying to balance cost - cost per unit x number of units to provide the coverage you'll need to be satisfied. Very subjective. Some people like Ais, some like ecotech, some like fathoms, some like cheap LEDs, some like expensive LEDs, some like DIYs, etc, etc, etc. It can be a tough choice but it's one YOU willl have to live with. Yeah, I know - this has all been said before but we do like to wash, rinse and repeat...This is true , you have a great array of LEDs , even the china DIY kits are still out there , but it's always great to have the rep in your neighborhood and not have to call a company in Poland or Texas to plead your case , it's a total benefit that backs these lights.
Your 100% right about that , it's like asking what is the best reef salt , overall it would pay to see the lights in person so do a bit of local asking and see who has what hanging over the local tanks and see what's magical for you!It boils down to what's most important to the one who will be using the light. I guess u wouldn't understand unless u have them but when I said great customer service I mean when or if u have a problem with your lights fathom will either help u trouble shoot it or come to your house to fix the problem fathom also comes to your house to install the lights and won't leave until you're happy, and you can't beat the lights, but like everyone else said the decision is yours there are a lot of company's out there but you get what u pay forGreat lights and good customer service is not unique to Fathoms.
