Easy suggestion for adding media to sump?

I'm getting tired of changing media in my brs dual reactor connected to my sump water.

Wonder if. ..

There is a way i can add media like gfo carbon in my sump directly?
Don't mind changing them weekly. It's much easier than dealing with a reactor.

Please share ur ideas , diy suggestions etc.

before reactors became popular I would just hang a media filter bag in a high flow area of the sump, but reactors are much more efficient...
