New pump and new sump

I just bought a 40 gall breeder for new sump with a water blaster 5000. The pump has a 1" 1/4" intake, can someone tell me the size hole I would have to drill and what size bulkhead? Where can I buy a glasshole cutter that size. Glassholes.com did not have the size I need.

Try marine depot or one better one of vendors here. Ive had alot of luck with saltwater critters and gotham aquatics in the past

Is it the holesaw for the sump or the display tank?

Sump, pipe is 1 1/4

go back to glass hole and purchase 1 1/2 inch bulkhead reduce with fitting to 1 1/4 you will be fine.
If you want local help contact Rt. 4 aquarium they have hole saws and pos. the fitting you need .

I might have the 1 1/2 hole saw allready I bought the 1500 gph overflow kit from them. Cool ill check when i get home.

Exactly, not only will it be fine, it will be better. Just plumb 1 1/2" to the pump then use a 1 1/2" - 1 1/4" adapter.

I will be building my sump this weekend going to do a large fuge with 1 set of baffles.
