Pretty sure it's exit 36 off the L.I.E. (New Hyde park ave). Take NewHyde park to jerico tpk and make a right. Think it's a block down on your right, Pets of New hyde Park is the name. They have a nice assortment of rocks for a decent price. If you happen to go make sure you check out the sloth and other exotic animals.

EDIT = Not trying to cockblock any vendors here, just trying to give him another spot to try if he makes the trek to L.I.

Pets of New Hype Park is not the same as the petwarehouse. I've been to both. Not impressed with Pets at all. They used to have a wide variety of fish but I think they treat them with copper. The worse thing is that the tanks with the fish are plumbed with the live rock tubs underneath. So whatever disease or medication they use for the fish, the rocks have them too. As far as petswarehosue, fish selecion is pretty good. Liverocks are not so impressive. More like dead rock submerge in a tank of water. When I ordered my liverocks, I got it through Dr. mac in Maryland and had it drop-shipped directly from Los Angeles. I think it was 90lb uncure. You have to pick it up at LGA and pay the shipping. But it is still a lot cheaper than $4.00/lb. That's if you don't mind curing it yourself.

Welcome to MR!!!!! I would suggest checking out the vendors on this board. You'll prob find the best prices there. You can also check the Sale forum. Alot of people getting rid of stuff there. I've pretty much gotten all my corals and live rock from others on MR. They are a great bunch!:splitspin
