lol. I lost my royal gramma. I bought him a week before I went to FL back in Dec for vacation. My brother was watching the tank for me and stuff. I came back from vaca - no gramma. Still haven't seen him. Doubt there's hope but some of these stories are entertaining.

Hey Tommy, I don't know about grammas, but wrasses can disappear for a long time. My wrasse is not the type that burrows in sand, but it was gone for 2 months. Now my female penant is been missing for a week, go figure.

How'd ya get him out. My long nose hawk refuses to come out. I tried siphon but I can't reach the bottom of overflow once its dained and it refused to get sucked up so I put water back in so didn't make things worse.

I rescue and orange spotted goby from a customers overflow , he told me it was in there for two years. now every time I clean the tank he comes out and watched me and I feel like he is saying "thanks bro!" cause he doesn't ever hide.

I also have a client that has a large blind maroon clownfish. it gets stuck behind the rocks in his 110 and he/I have to rescue him, but he does great most of the time.

As I read that, I could hear Bette Midler singing..." Did I ever tell you you're my hero? "

My first experience was a Sixline wrasse lost in the back chamber of my aqua pod. I thought it was a goner after two months then one day cleaning the tank I saw something swimming in the back. After I "rescued" him the first time I was rescuing him on average once a month.
