Thanks again bro, yes, things will bounce, we dont quit!! Thanks for the help and count on me too for anything needed!
I just noticed more polyp extension on the affected pieces, i guess they are on survival mode since all their algae that produced their food is gone...so i will try to provide some food for the water column, thing is i gotta be careful to not overdo since with new sand and water, the biofilter is new again.
I sold my clowfish to my buddy that has been bugging me to sell him and i figured less fish now maybe would put even less stress on the system, so i only have a chrmis in the whole tank. The fish is like a king, with the whole tank for himself. I am going to add nothing to it for at least a month or when i noticed the corals are back to normal

Believe it or not you couldn't see any color on my Sps they were toasted! That's why I have no idea how it works.. Some even had algae growing on them w no color what so ever.. I would honestly say I got about 93-94 % of my corals back.. Def took a few months .. Great info from everyone on here.. Unfortunately in this hobby all the good stuff takes forever!
Btw I'm sure you could make a cover over a rimless tank if you wanted to.. My tank is euro braced( entire top is open) I just laid down a mesh top I made over it.

I feel better to hear stories of bleached pieces that were toast that came back. I believe mine will come back bc i didnt see a worse pic than from tuesday. The situation stood the same and the pieces went from a bright neon green to a lime green/ whitish. So i can still see the color. Just gotta have patience i guess. Im going to look for a cover for the tank and keep my office room locked when i leave the house/go to bed! My wife says im obsessed with my tank...but when i leave it alone look at what happens!!! I guess she says that bc shes not the one losing the $ spent on the sps/ wc, new sand, salt,...you know the drill

I was thinking of this new product as an extra step to aid with the bleaching...
Anyone has heard anything about it? As with any product, there gotta be lots of hype, but in my situation i wouldnt mind trying. I would like to hear first any thoughts.
