Return Pump, Help

My Return Pump Is Making This Extrenely Annoying Noise. How Can I Fix It? I Have A Mag 5

take it apart, their might be something in the impeller.

Water level high high enough in sump?
If its vibrating and the noise is annoying, try a mouse pad under the pump or something aquarium safe to reduce the vibration. It could also be an issue with the pump. Have you cleaned it at all?

I've never cleaned it. Didn't know I had to. I'm afraid to break it as well

You just open up the part where the impeller is. No screwdrivers or anything. Then you can take out the impeller, clean it, clean the spot where it goes back in and put it all back together. Should be good as new.

Okay, I get it. Similar to the old hang over the back filter where the dirt gets stuck in there. Thanks man, I'll see if that fixes the issue

Pretty much, vinegar bath isn't bath idea since your going to do it anyway. I clean a lot of stuff with it
